We all know happy kids mean happy holidays…
Let’s start with the obvious – Seabreeze is steps from a beautiful spacious sandy beach which is so quiet, even in August. Kids of all ages love the beach, winter or summer, much fun can be had building sandcastles, bodyboarding, paddling, jumping the waves, beach cricket, foraging for fossils and burying your dad… Best thing, it’s free!!
Mundesley is just 5 minutes drive away, or walk along the beach – a traditional quiet seaside resort with a stunning blue flag beach. Crazy golf, a few amusements and lots of icecream! A little further North is the lovely resort of Cromer – why not try to catch some of the famous Cromer crabs off the pier side. You can buy basic kit for a few pounds in the town.
Cromer is also home to a fantastic surf school. Children are welcome from the age of 8. Build up your kids (and your own!) confidence in the water under close supervision of the Glide Surf school. 7 days a week, April to end of October.
Staying on the beach, the kids will have educational fun rock pooling at West Runton – just 5 miles west of Cromer, Norfolk Wildlife Trust runs rockpool rummaging events on the beach throughout the summer – shore crabs, anenomes and starfish are regularly found. Dry off with a hot chocolate at the great beach café.
Local attractions within easy reach – Wroxham Barns with a great petting farm and play area for the little ones, Bewilderwood is always fun, Amazona zoo at Cromer, Thrigby Wildlife park or take a boat out on the Norfolk Broads.
Back at Seabreeze the kids will love the freedom of the green at Rainbows End for impromptu games or kite flying. Mum and dad can relax from the deck at Seabreeze and watch the kids safely enjoying themselves.
There is a wealth of information at Seabreeze for ideas to help keep the young and not so young ones amused in summer and winter. Enjoy the board games and some lovely family films for that much needed “wind down” time or if the weather is not so good.
